Joey Ali
Goaltending Coach | Langley Rivermen
Joey Ali is the Founder of Proali Goalie Training and Co-owner of ProFormance Goalie Schools and opened Proali Goalie Training Facility 5 years ago. His insight comes from years of playing experience in; BC Winter Games (Zone team), Junior B (PJHL), Junior A (AWHL) & College (NCAA, conference MCHA). He received his scholarship after winning a national title at the Junior A level. In College, he received student awards for academics while studying business and marketing and athletic awards for his play on the ice.
Currently, Joey is the goalie consultant for the following:
- BCIHL – Simon Fraser University
- BCHL – Langley Rivermen (eighth season in the BCHL, 2014 Champions), NCAA institutions
- BCEHL- Fraser Valley Rush (2022 league, regional Champions & Esso Cup Silver Medal)
- PJHL- Langley Trappers (2022 league & Provincial champions)
- Team Canada (Blind Hockey) works with numerous minor hockey associations.
Joey is Hockey Canada Certified Goaltending Coach (Level 3) and has been in the NHLCA BIPOC Coach Program for a two-year program. He aspires to one day coach in the NHL.
Joey is married to his lovely wife Natasha and has three beautiful children, Tatyana, Rayaan, and Aaliyah.
