Saanichton, B.C. – Hockey Canada announced today thatthe British Columbia Elite Hockey League’s (BCEHL) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds have been chosen to host the Canadian U18 AAA TELUS Cup Club Championship in 2025.
The TELUS Cup is held annually and sees the top teams from across the country battle it out for Canada’s U18 National Championship.
“The TELUS Cup is a signature event that showcases the skill and dedication of the young athletes who are fortunate enough to reach the tournament, and the honour of hosting highlights our region’s passion for the sport,” Fraser Valley General Manager Troy Stordy said, “We are committed to providing an exceptional experience for players, coaches, and fans alike, and we look forward to creating unforgettable memories during the championship”.
The TELUS Cup tournament is comprised of five regional champions from across Canada as well as the host Fraser Valley Thunderbirds. In total, 19 games are played over the six-day tournament to crown a National Champion.
