We negotiate contracts on behalf of professional hockey players to ensure that they receive the maximum compensation throughout their careers.

We strive to provide our players with other avenues to market themselves off the ice, earn additional income, enhance their image, and advocate for their areas of interest.

We assist with the transition to life after hockey to alleviate any concerns and difficulties players may encounter.

For players choosing the NCAA route, we will advise their families about all eligibility requirements and the recruiting process to ensure they are well-informed.

JOE CALIGIURI
CO-FOUNDER, NHLPA CERTIFIED AGENT AND LEGAL COUNSEL
A practicing lawyer at Tapper Cuddy LLP in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Joe was born and raised in Winnipeg and is a former Western Hockey League and USports goaltender. In 2017, Joe graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2018. In 2019, Joe became an NHLPA Certified Player Agent.
Joe has represented several players at the professional and amateur levels, including in the National Hockey League. Joe’s strength is his ability to understand the complexities of the business side of Hockey, while ensuring all his clients are well-informed of their rights and entitlements. He constantly analyzes industry data to determine a player’s value, enabling him to negotiate an appropriate compensation package.
During his legal career, Joe has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, labour and employment law. This experience has allowed Joe to develop essential skills in collective bargaining, contract negotiations, and advocacy that directly translate into advising hockey players and their families.
Currently, one of only two NHLPA Certified Player Agents residing in the Province of Manitoba, Joe ensures he is fully accessible to all his players and their families while maintaining a professional, player-first mentality.
Joe currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with his wife Natasha.
