The BJB Shootout is a team entry event for NCDC, Premier and Elite teams that takes place at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass., as well as at satellite facilities. The Shootout is a showcase format for the 18U and 16U levels and also has USPHL league games played in a showcase format at the NCDC, Premier and Elite levels. There will be 70 USPHL junior games played at the event. This event will also mark the debut of North American Prep Hockey League teams competing at the Elite level.
USPHL Premier Conference Announces 2024-25 Showcase Series Schedule
Boston, MA – July 11, 2024 – The United States Premier Hockey League is pleased to announce its USPHL Premier Conference Showcase Series Schedule for the 2024-25 season. Every event provides the best Tier III hockey you’ll see from coast to coast, heavily scouted by NCAA, ACHA and AAU coaches amid invigorating atmospheres in every facility.
Last year, more than 250 USPHL Premier players committed to NCAA, ACHA and AAU colleges directly, while there have been more than 5,000 all-time college commitments since the inaugural season for both the USPHL Premier and Elite leagues in their current format in 2017-18. More than 30 players from the USPHL Premier have gone on to NCAA Division I careers.
Additionally, more than 240 Premier players from the 2023-24 season and alumni appeared in Tier II National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) games last season. Every event is welcoming to college scouts from across the country with hospitality and private scout viewing areas available at each event.
There have also been 58 NHL Entry Draft selections of USPHL players since 2013-14, including two from the USPHL Premier – the only league of its format with any NHL Draft selections since 2019 – and 18 from the NCDC.
