NAHL

August 14, 2024

The Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League have announced that Brett Wall will become the head coach for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. Wall comes to Janesville with experience playing in the NAHL and advancing to the NCAA Division I level at Lake Superior State University. He has coached at the youth, junior, and college levels, most recently as head coach of Lawrence University in the NCHA conference.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to coach one of the top organizations in junior hockey with Janesville Jets. The Jets have a proud history of developing and advancing players to the next level while teaching players the value of giving back through community service that I plan to continue,” said Wall.

Wall replaces Garrett Roth, who will become the head coach of the Bismarck Bobcats to replace long-time head coach Layne Sedevie. Roth also enters the new role at Bismarck with experience playing at the NAHL and NCAA Division I level at Bemidji State University. He has over 10 years of coaching experience in the North American Hockey League, including previously serving as assistant coach and director of player personnel at Bismarck from 2012 until 2020.

“I am excited about the opportunity to come back and coach in Bismarck. The relationships and memories built over the years makes it feel like I am coming home. To come back and be a part of an organization that has meant so much to my hockey journey truly is a dream come true,” said Roth.
