The NCAA Eligibility Center offers three different account types to help college-bound student-athletes make the best decision about their college sports experience. For most students, a free Profile Page account (option 1 on eligibilitycenter.org) is the best place to start!
Once you determine which school you want to attend and which division it is in, this chart can help you determine which account is right for you.
For college-bound international student-athletes planning attend and compete at a Division III school, or if you are transferring from a two- or four-year college or university, the Amateurism-Only Certification account (option 2 on eligibilitycenter.org) is the best account.
- Transfer students should check with the compliance office at the school to which they are transferring to ensure this is the correct Eligibility Center account required by that school.
For students attending enrolling for the first time at a Division I or II school, wanting to take an official visit or preparing to sign a National Letter of Intent, an Academic and Amateurism Certification account (option 3 on eligibilitycenter.org) is the best fit.
Still unsure which account type you need? We recommend starting with our free Profile Page account, then consulting with the compliance office at the NCAA school you may attend. If you need more help, contact the Eligibility Center’s Customer Service team at 877-262-1492, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday-Friday for assistance.
