Teams across the USHL opened the first full month of the regular season in specatular fashion. From funky theme nights to specialty jerseys that helped raise more than $85K for cancer-related causes, teams around the league were actively engaged with their communities.

October in Review

Military Appreciation Nights 

  • Cedar Rapids, Omaha, Lincoln, Madison, Muskegon, Sioux City, Dubuque, Sioux Falls and Youngstown will host a Military Appreciation Night in November.

Pucks and Paws (Nov. 2)

  • Bring your dog to watch some hockey with you as the Madison Capitols host “Pucks and Paws” night on Saturday, Nov. 2 (More)

Nebraska Epilepsy Night (Nov. 8)

  • The Lincoln Stars will be hosting Nebraska Epilepsy Night at The Ice Box on Friday, Nov. 8. There will be a raffle as well as t-shirts available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Nebraska Epilepsy Foundation. (More)

Sensory Friendly Night (Nov. 15)

  • The Chicago Steel will have their third-annual Sensory Friendly Night on Friday, November 15. The night will feature low-volume music, no goal horns, and other accommodating features. (More)

Honor Flight (Nov. 16)

  • Fargo will be hosting Honor Flight Night on Saturday, Nov. 16, featuring specialty jerseys, a live band, a giveaway at the door, a silent auction, a specialty puck drop, a post-game jersey auction, and much more. Proceeds will help support Honor Flight of ND/MN. (More)
