About The Team
SCORE YOUR GOALS WITH AN ASSIST FROM US!
Players wanted. Do you think you have what it takes to succeed?
The Cornwall Colts Jr A Hockey Club is always on the lookout for the serious student/athlete. Our program is designed to help you achieve your goals. We have graduated over 94 players to NCAA, major Junior and pro hockey. Former Colts can be found in the NHL, AHL, CHL, NCAA, and in Europe, playing the game we all love.
The Colts are a community minded team with a strong base of loyal fans. Players enjoy a high profile in the community, we attend many public events throughout the season, and our players also attend many functions in elementary schools, helping with tutoring, and spreading drug awareness and healthy living messages.
Most home games are on Thursday nights, a great night to attract NCAA recruiters to games. The Colts are also situated only 45 minutes away from both Clarkson and St. Lawrence Universities. All Colts away games are broadcast live on radio station 97.3 FM, CKON, and also streamed on the world wide web. As well we have 10 home games televised live on our local Cogeco TV network. The Colts are also followed by local print media: the Standard-Freeholder, the Seaway News and Le Journal de Cornwall.
