ABOUT US
The North Shore Warriors Hockey Academy was founded in 2016 and was formerly named the West Vancouver Warriors Hockey Academy. This high-performance hockey development program remains the only Hockey Canada Accredited School on Vancouver’s North Shore and joined the Canadian Sport School Hockey League in 2016. Since that time, the Academy has expanded to six teams playing in U15, U15 Prep, U16 Prep, U17 Prep, U18 Prep and Female U18 Prep divisions. As a National leader in education-based hockey, the CSSHL has established itself as the league of choice for youth hockey development.
The Warriors have won two CSSHL Championship titles (2018, 2019) and is proud of their many alumni playing in the WHL, BCHL, NCAA, and professional ranks. NHL draft picks Layton Ahac (Las Vegas, 3rd round, 2019) and Fraser Minten (Toronto, 2nd round, 2022) are recent Warriors alumni (Ahac – 2016-17; Minten – 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20).
In 2022, the Academy rebranded and became the North Shore Warriors Hockey Academy to better reflect the fantastic region in which we call home.
