The NA3HL Danbury Hat Tricks played one game this weekend, on Sunday night against the Long Beach Sharks. For the third time this season, the Hat Tricks beat the Sharks, coming away with a 5-3 win at Danbury Arena.
After Long Beach opened the scoring in the first period, captain Brody Trew tied the game on the power play with 14 seconds remaining in the frame. Danbury took the lead for good in the second period, with goals from Brookfield natives Kenny Granacker and Elliot Williamson less than a minute apart. Eryk Fancher made the score 4-2 early in the third, and Aidan Klen scored his first goal of the year with an empty net tally to secure the win. Riley Gorman made 20 saves for his third win.
The Hat Tricks are on the road this weekend, with a game in New Hampshire against the Mountain Kings on Friday at 3:40 p.m. and then on Saturday against the Northeast Generals at 7:30.
