COACHING STAFF
HEAD COACH & GM OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS – NATHAN OYSTRICK
Oystrick is a native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Oystrick’s previous coaching experience includes the Elmira Jackals, Atlanta Gladiators, Colorado Academy and Humboldt Broncos. He played NCAA D1 hockey at Northern Michigan, where he captained the team his junior and senior seasons. His professional hockey playing career includes time in the NHL, AHL, ECHL and KHL. ASSISTANT COACH – LUKE MEYER
Meyer grew up in Baldwin, Wisconsin and played four years of varsity hockey. He then attended Minnesota State – Mankato and graduated with a degree in Earth Science. Meyer played two years in the ACHA with Mankato and then coached for Minnesota State – Mankato ACHA D2 team and was an Assistant Coach with the Mankato East Cougars for two seasons.
GOALIE COACH/SCOUT – TAYLOR CAREY
Carey will oversee goaltenders, coaching them through video and on ice sessions. He will also assist in player development, player recruiting and game/practice strategy. Taylor has been working with goalies and coaching for the past 9 years and has made a large impact on a lot of young men’s lives. He has helped develop goalies such as Cooper Black from Dartmouth College (NCAA) and Dillon Kelly with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL). Carey is a Michigan native.
