Collège Universel offers its student athletes the opportunity to join the college hockey program.
Collège Universel has opted for a “Prep School” type of hockey program, unique in the Outaouais region. Athletes participate in a development program as well as a schedule of games in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and the United States.
This contributes to giving our hockey players visibility with Canadian and American universities if they wish to pursue their career in university hockey.
Our team each participates in a showcase schedule totaling approximately 40 games per season.
In the 2022-2023 season, our men’s team plays at the Northern Pre-University Hockey League (NPUHL), North American Prep Hockey League (NAPHL) and North East Scholastic Hockey League (NESHL) levels.

Collège Universel offers its female student athletes the opportunity to join its college hockey program.
Collège Universel has opted for a “Prep School” type of hockey program, unique in the Outaouais region. Our women’s team participates in the North American Prep Hockey Association (NAPHA).
Our team participates in three on-ice and four off-ice practices per week. They are also required to attend group video sessions and watch individual clips.
All of our athletes have the opportunity to combine athletic performance and academic success thanks to the close supervision and individualized teaching for which Collège Universel-Campus Gatineau is known, all in an inclusive and highly technological educational environment.
